Beginner Quick Start

Open our beginner template in Google Sheets. You will see sample data in row 2. Study it, then delete the sample and start pasting your own links. That is it. Your cssbuy spreadsheet is live.

Common Problems

  • 1Formula shows #VALUE!: Check that all price cells contain numbers, not text.
  • 2Status colors are not working: Make sure your Status cell exactly matches the rule text (case-sensitive).
  • 3Sheet feels slow: Delete old rows instead of hiding them. Hidden rows still calculate.
  • 4Cannot find an old item: Use Ctrl+F to search by name, seller, or any keyword in your Notes.

Pro Workflows

Power users create one master sheet with monthly tabs. Each tab is a haul. A Dashboard tab at the front pulls totals from every month using SUM formulas. This gives year-over-year spending insight with zero extra work.
