Opening Your Template and Understanding the Layout

Start by downloading our beginner template. It opens in Google Sheets with eight pre-built columns: Item Link, Item Name, Size, Color, Domestic Price, Agent Fee, Shipping, and Status. Each column has a header in bold and a light gray background so your eye finds it instantly.

The first row under the header is a sample entry. Study it. You will see a Taobao link, a short item name, a size, a color, three price cells, and the word "Ordered" in the status column. That sample is your cheat sheet. Every real entry you add should follow the same pattern.

Before you paste any real links, duplicate the sheet. Click the sheet tab at the bottom, choose Duplicate, and name the copy "Backup." Now you can experiment without fear.

Adding Your First Real Item

Find an item you want to buy. Copy the product link from the agent site or the original marketplace. Click cell A2 in your cssbuy spreadsheet, paste the link, and press Tab to move to the next cell. Type a short name, hit Tab again, type the size, then color, then price.

Prices can be tricky. The Domestic Price is what the seller charges. The Agent Fee is what your agent adds on top. Leave Shipping blank for now because you usually do not know the exact international cost until items reach the warehouse. Type "Ordered" in Status.

Repeat this for every item in your haul. By item five, you will be moving so fast it feels like muscle memory. That speed is the magic of a structured cssbuy spreadsheet.

Tracking Status Changes Like a Pro

Status tracking is where beginners become veterans. When your agent sends the first QC photo, change Status from "Ordered" to "QC Received." If you green-light the item, change it to "Approved." When the item ships to your country, mark it "Shipped." When it hits your doorstep, celebrate with "Delivered."

Color coding makes this even faster. Select the Status column, open Conditional Formatting in Google Sheets, and set rules: green text for Delivered, orange for Shipped, red for Delayed. Now your entire haul health is visible in a single glance.

Pro tip: add a Notes column for extra context. Write things like "Sole looks darker in QC" or "Size runs small, sized up." Those notes become priceless when you buy similar items in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

1What if my agent does not speak English?

Your cssbuy spreadsheet is your translator. Every detail is written in your language, so even if the agent interface is confusing, your personal tracker stays crystal clear.

2Should I track every single item?

Yes. Even a ten-dollar accessory can cause delays if the wrong size ships. Every item belongs in your cssbuy spreadsheet.

3How often should I update the sheet?

Daily during active hauls. It takes thirty seconds and prevents days of confusion later.
